Manu Aute works to amplify the voices, aspirations and wellbeing of whānau, hapū and iwi across the health and social service sector. From a Te Ao Māori and whānau-centric lens, our team embed community voice and lived experience in submissions, projects, wānanga, social media and other platforms to advocate and contribute to system change. We work alongside providers, partners, government agencies and iwi leadership to influence equitable outcomes and strengthen Māori-led solutions.
Our role is to ensure Māori perspectives are visible, respected and embedded in the decisions that shape health and social wellbeing across Aotearoa.

Hine Ki Te Wheiao — Māori Maternal Mental Health Collective
Hine ki te Wheiao is a collective of wāhine Māori who seek to uplift māmā and their whānau through advocating for system changes affecting Māori maternal mental health. Firmly grounded in the notion of prevention over intervention, Hine Ki Te Wheiao work alongside researchers, clinicians and māmā Māori with lived experience to further raise awareness and influence change through policy submissions, podcasts and social media.
